Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Mumbai is seeking a CA qualified accounting professional to manage day-to-day accounting, ensure timely closure of books, and prepare financial statements as per Ind AS/IGAAP.

You will handle GST, TDS, and income tax filings, coordinate with statutory and internal auditors, and oversee inter-company/project accounts, including RERA compliance and project cost tracking, with proper documentation and audit support.

Qualifications

• CA qualified professional credential is required.
• Proficient in Tally ERP or SAP or other leading accounting software.
• Experience in GST, TDS, and income tax compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and ensure timely closure of books.

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Handle day-to-day accounting and ensure timely closure of books.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/IGAAP).
• Perform ledger scrutiny and ensure all entries are accurate and complete.
• Maintain and reconcile inter-company and inter-project accounts.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP / or any leading accounting software.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all statutory tax requirements GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and coordinate for income tax filings.
• Handle assessments, respond to tax notices, and liaise with consultants/auditors as required.

Audit & Finalization

• Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors for smooth and timely audit processes.
• Assist in preparation of audit schedules, financial statements, and annexures.
• Finalization of accounts and ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.

Real Estate Specific Financial Functions

• Work on RERA compliance, project-wise costing, and fund utilization reports.
• Track project profitability, customer collections, and vendor payments.
• Maintain proper accounting of land advances, development rights, and project cost capitalization.
