Qualifications

• 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in Finance and accounts function in Real Estate Industry.
• Thorough understanding of Budgeting, Financial Planning, Corporate Accounting, Audits, Treasury management, and Investor/Bank relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations for multiple projects and entities.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Review general ledger, reconciliations, provisions, accruals, and project accounting records.
• Monitor project-wise profitability, cash flows, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Lead statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and due diligence exercises.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Provide management with actionable financial insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with business teams, project teams, legal, sales, and leadership stakeholders.

Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.

Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Review general ledger, reconciliations, provisions, accruals, and project accounting records.

Monitor project-wise profitability, cash flows, and financial performance.

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory requirements.

Coordinate with tax consultants and regulatory authorities for assessments, audits, and notices.

Review and monitor timely filing of all statutory returns and regulatory submissions.

Audit & Internal Controls

Lead statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and due diligence exercises.

Strengthen financial controls, processes, and governance frameworks.

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Monitor budget utilization and analyze variances against business plans.

Provide management with actionable financial insights and recommendations.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate closely with business teams, project teams, legal, sales, and leadership stakeholders.

Liaise with external auditors, consultants, banks, lenders, and regulatory authorities.

Support management reporting and board-level financial presentations.

Qualifications and Experience

CA

8-10 years of post-qualification experience in Finance and accounts function in Real Estate Industry
