Job summary

PeopleStrong is offering a Graduate Programme in Construction Safety Management in India. You will help develop and implement EHS policies, conduct risk assessments, and lead incident investigations while coordinating training programs for employees and contractors.

You will contribute to environmental management, audits, and reporting, and support emergency preparedness and continual improvement initiatives, emphasising leadership and clear communication.

Job Description

1. 1. Policy & ComplianceDevelop and implement EHS policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely reporting
2. 2. Risk Assessment & Safety ManagementConduct hazard identification and risk assessments.Implement control measures to minimize workplace risks.Lead incident/accident investigations and root cause analysis.
3. 3) Training & AwarenessOrganize EHS training programs for employees and contractors.Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.Conduct safety drills (fire, evacuation, emergency response).
4. 4) Environmental ManagementMonitor environmental impact (waste, emissions, water usage).Ensure proper waste disposal and pollution control.Drive sustainability and environmental initiatives.
5. 5) Audits & ReportingConduct internal safety audits and inspections.Coordinate external audits (ISO, statutory bodies).Maintain EHS records and prepare reports for management.
