Job Description
We are looking for an experienced EHS and Risk Management professional with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in an Industrial / Manufacturing environment and 7 years of Green Building Management experience within buildings, campuses, or public areas.
The candidate will be responsible for managing Environmental, Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Risk Management, Green Building, Contractor Safety, Regulatory Compliance, and Continuous Improvement initiatives. The role requires strong expertise in incident investigation, root cause analysis, hazard identification, process safety, and EHS program implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Occupational Health, Hygiene, and Risk Management programs across buildings, campuses, and public areas.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Central, State, and Local EHS regulations, statutory requirements, and organizational standards.
- Manage EHS requirements related to industrial/manufacturing environments, with a strong focus on workplace safety and risk mitigation.
- Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, procedures, standards, and compliance programs.
- Drive Green Building Management and sustainability initiatives across buildings, campuses, and public areas.
- Support and manage environmental and sustainability programs aligned with Green Building standards and organizational ESG objectives.
- Conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, risk assessments, hazard reviews, and compliance assessments.
- Lead incident, accident, near-miss, and occupational health investigations, including detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and monitor their effectiveness.
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and recommend appropriate control measures.
- Ensure effective Contractor Safety Management, including contractor onboarding, safety orientation, compliance monitoring, audits, and performance evaluation.
- Oversee Process Safety requirements and ensure appropriate risk controls are implemented for high-risk activities.
- Develop and conduct EHS training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during statutory inspections, audits, certifications, and regulatory visits.
- Maintain and monitor EHS documentation, inspection reports, incident records, training records, risk assessments, and compliance trackers.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation of applicable EHS and environmental requirements.
- Develop and monitor EHS KPIs, dashboards, risk metrics, incident trends, and compliance reports for management review.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, environmental performance, risk management, and operational processes.
- Support emergency preparedness and response programs, including emergency drills and crisis management.
- Work closely with Facilities, Engineering, Operations, HR, Legal, Security, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to ensure effective EHS governance.
- Develop, implement, and/or manage an Environmental and Governance Program covering compliance, sustainability, risk management, and continuous improvement.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications in EHS, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Risk Management, or Green Building will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Risk Management, Environmental, Hygiene, Occupational Health, and/or Safety, preferably within Buildings, Campuses, or Public Areas.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Industrial / Manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Green Building Management within Buildings, Campuses, or Public Areas.
- Strong hands-on experience in EHS regulatory compliance, inspections, incident investigations, process safety, contractor safety, EHS training, hazard reviews, and Job Safety Analysis.
- Proven experience in developing, implementing, and/or managing Environmental and Governance Programs will be preferred.
