Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an EHS professional in Mumbai to establish and monitor an integrated health, safety & environment management system aligned with ISO-45001:2018, ISO-14001:2015 and ISO 9001. The role involves coordinating external audits, preparing EHS plans, and conducting on-site training for engineers and workers.

You will perform hazard identifications, risk assessments, and implement a Work Permit System, emergency drills, and site safety improvements across construction projects.

Qualifications

• Experience establishing and coordinating ISO-based EHS systems in construction.
• Knowledge of ISO-45001, ISO-14001 and ISO 9001 standards is required.
• Ability to lead site trainings and drive EHS compliance across projects.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor an integrated health, safety & environment management system.
• Coordinate external EHS audits and third-party inspections.
• Prepare EHS/Environment Management Plans and risk assessments.
• Develop training programs for engineers and workers on site.
• Implement Work Permit System and emergency preparedness drills.
• Conduct monthly risk audits and quarterly system audits.
• Report EHS performance to project head and IC Head.
