Job summary

PeopleStrong in India is seeking an EHS professional to lead the Health, Safety and Environment function across operations, ensuring compliance with EHS policies and management systems.

You will develop project-specific guidelines, conduct risk assessments, deliver training, and monitor performance to drive continual improvement. The role also includes implementing emergency response procedures and coordinating with staff, subcontractors and visitors to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing EHS policies and Integrated Management Systems.
• Ability to prepare risk assessments and deliver training programs.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Own the EHS function across operations and drive benchmark performance.
• Ensure implementation of EHS Policy & IMS at project sites.
• Develop project-specific guidelines and procedures.
• Prepare risk assessments and conduct staff/trades training.
• Monitor EHS performance and coordinate CAPA actions.
• Establish emergency preparedness and response procedures.
