Job summary

InvestCloud, headquartered in Los Angeles with a global footprint, seeks a seasoned DevOps/Platform Lead in Bengaluru to guide a lean team. You will split time between hands-on pipeline construction, automation, and managing delivery commitments.

You will mentor 4–10 engineers across multiple workstreams, driving platform reliability, security, and scalable infrastructure, while translating business needs into practical technical work.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in CI/CD pipelines and containerization plus cloud infrastructure.
• Experience building, operating, and supporting production systems and automated environments.
• Understanding of observability, data security, and compliance in cloud/containerized setups.
• Adopts AI-enhanced development pipelines and modern monitoring solutions into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain DevOps and infra talent.
• Manage a team of 4-10 engineers across platform, release, and infra automation workflows.
• Set clear expectations, give direct feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
• Maintain psychological safety while delivering pipelines, reliability, and code quality.
• Lead 1:1s, career conversations, and team retrospectives.
• Operate as hands-on leader, balancing people mgmt with active engineering work.

Job description

• Strong foundationin CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure,GCP) —able to review configurations, unblock teams, and makesound technical trade-offs.
• Experience building,operating, and supporting production systems and automated environment infrastructures, ideally in regulated or financial environments.
• Understanding ofobservability, data security, compliance requirements, and security/reliability best practices for cloud and containerized environments.
• Actively adopts AI-enhanced development pipelines, tools, and modern monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) into engineering workflows.

People Management

• Proventrack recordof hiring, developing, andretainingDevOps and infrastructure engineering talent.
• Experience managing a team of 4-10 engineers across one or two workstreams focusing on platform, release, and infrastructure automation.
• Skilled at setting clear expectations, giving direct feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
• Builds psychological safety whilemaintaininghigh standardsfor pipeline delivery, system reliability, and code quality.
• Runs effective 1:1s, career development conversations, and team retrospectives.
