Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Mumbai is seeking a regulatory compliance professional to support RBI compliance across foreign exchange, FDI, and related areas. You will monitor RBI circulars, disseminate changes to business units, perform compliance testing, and help prepare required RBI reports.

You will also contribute to corporate governance, management reporting, and audit support, coordinating with internal and statutory auditors and assisting RBI inspections as needed.

Responsibilities

• RBI compliance obligations across regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on RBI circulars and disseminate regulations to business/support functions.
• Perform compliance testing on RBI circulars/policies and provide remarks.
• Prepare and file reports and returns with the RBI.
• Draft and implement corporate governance frameworks/policies.
• Prepare documents to update management/Board on regulatory changes.
• Engage with internal/statutory/Secretarial auditors; provide data and resolve queries.
• Assist in RBI inspections and related support.

Job description

RBI Compliance:

• – Ensuring compliance with RBI regulations, including foreign exchange management, FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) regulations, etc.

Regulatory Updates:

• – Stay updated on RBI circulars applicable to the company’s operations and disseminating regulations to business/support functions including providing ongoing advisory service.

Compliance Testing:

• – Performing Compliance testing on RBI Circulars/policies and providing remarks thereof.

Reporting:

• – Prepare and file necessary reports and returns with the RBI.

Corporate Governance:

• – Draft and ensure implementation of corporate governance frameworks/policies.

Management Reporting:

• – Preparing documents to update management / Board on any regulatory changes impacting the Company.

Audit Support:

• – Engaging with Internal/statutory/Secretarial Auditors in providing data & resolving queries.

RBI Inspections:

• – Assisting in handling inspections by RBI.
