The role includes driving supply chain finance, pricing oversight, and process improvements, while acting as a running source of truth for key metrics.

Responsibilities

• Overall business understanding and analysis: Develop financial plans with various business and technology teams, review plan vs actual, and communicate insights for actionable planning.
• Partnering for growth: Build views for actionable plans, work with cross functional teams on new business initiatives, and perform scenario analysis.
• Supply chain finance: Review pricing across channels and oversee inventory and related financial processes.
• Drive efficiency and day-to-day activities: Drive standardization, handle ad hoc requests, and maintain a running source of truth for numbers.

Urban Company started as UrbanClap in November 2014, when its founders, Abhiraj, Raghav, and Varun, realized that the home services industry was predominantly unorganized, fragmented, and offline. About the Role

Overall business understanding and analysis:

• Develop financial plans along with various Business and technology teams, with rigor on Bottom's up approach.
• Review the plan vs actual on a regular basis; in depth analysis of variance and communicating the same proactively creating right visibility and enabling actionable planning.
• Continuous tracking of key financials and business metrics, accurate reporting and circulating the same to relevant stakeholders at requisite time intervals

Partnering for growth :

• Develop deep understanding of business drivers and leverage that to create views for creating actionable plans
• Partnering with respective business and cross functional teams for new business initiatives.
• Do scenario analysis and develop business plans on product enhancement or business initiatives.

Supply chain finance :

• Review product pricing across channels along with COGS to drive the right margin structure for the business.
• Oversight over inventory and supply chain functions like timely GRN, receivables reconciliation, TOTs with channel partners.

Drive efficiency and other day to day activities :

• Participate & Drive standardization & automation projects for process efficiency.
• Handle ad hoc requests and problem solving with a short turnaround time and supplement such requests with appropriate analysis and comments to support decision making.
• Acts as a running source of truth for numbers – key metrics and performance drivers.
