Qualifications

• Postgraduate in Supply Chain / Operations / or related field.
• Experience: 10-15 years in inventory management or SCM planning/operations.
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical (formulation) industry preferred.

Key responsibilities:

Finished Goods Inventory Strategy & Governance

• Develop and implement FG inventory strategies aligned with business growth objectives, customer service requirements, and working capital targets.
• Establish inventory governance frameworks across markets, warehouses, distribution centers, and international plants.
• Define and review inventory stocking policies to ensure optimum balance between product availability and inventory investment.
• Drive continuous improvement in inventory productivity and asset utilization

Inventory Norms Setting & Optimization

• Establish market-wise and SKU-wise inventory norms based on demand patterns, supply lead times, service level targets, and business requirements.
• Periodically review and optimize inventory norms using statistical analysis, consumption trends, and forecast performance.
• Define safety stock, cycle stock, and replenishment parameters for different product categories and markets.
• Ensure inventory norms are effectively translated into operational execution plans.

Global Inventory Visibility & Analytics

• Utilize SAP, Kinaxis, Tableau, and Anaplan to provide end-to-end visibility of FG inventory across markets and supply chain nodes.
• Develop inventory dashboards and performance scorecards for management review.
• Analyze inventory trends and identify opportunities for optimization through advanced analytics.
• Provide actionable insights to improve inventory turnover, forecast alignment, and customer service performance.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Partner with supply chain planning, procurement, logistics, finance, and commercial teams across multiple regions.
• Provide inventory insights to support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP/Kinaxis) processes.
• Act as the central point of contact for inventory analytics and reporting requirements for international stakeholders.
• Facilitate alignment between global standards and regional business requirements.

Educational Qualification

• Postgraduate in Supply Chain / Operations / or related field

Experience

• 10-15 years of experience in inventory management or SCM Supply Planning/ Operations
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical (formulation) industry preferred
