Job summary

Lupin, Aurangabad site, is seeking a Senior Manager to lead mechanical maintenance across production and utility systems, including HVAC and purified water. The role requires ownership of breakdown monitoring, capex processes, and computer-system validation in a highly regulated setting.

Ideal candidates will have 12–15 years of relevant experience, a mechanical engineering degree, and strong knowledge of cGMP, CFRs, and regulatory inspections, with familiarity in SAP, SABA and Veeva.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 12–15 years of relevant experience in pharma/regulated manufacturing.
• Knowledge of 21 CFR, cGMP and regulatory inspections (USFDA, MHRA, WHO).
• Familiar with calibration of analytical and digital instruments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical maintenance of production, utilities, PW systems and HVAC.
• Monitor breakdowns across equipment and utility systems for mech/elec teams.
• Evaluate capex: equipment selection, installation, commissioning and qualification.
• Review audit trails of computer-based systems for compliance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and validation activities are up-to-date.

• Responsible for Overall Mechanical Maintenance of production equipment ,utility equipment, Purified water system and HVAC operations.
• Monitoring of Breakdown of all production equipment , utility equipment’s , , Purified water system and HVAC for Mech & Elec
• Monitoring of Capex from selection of equipment, Installation, commissioning & Qualification.
• Audit trail review of all computer based systems
• Knowledge of Calibration of analytical & Digital instruments,SAP,SABA,Veeva
• In-depth knowledge for 21 CFR compliance, PLC Validation , computer system validation .
• Knowledge of statutory compliance of cGMP , GxP , Regulatory requirement of EH & S
• Familiar with regulatory inspections like USFDA, MHRA, WHO, etc.
