Job summary

Prodapt Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Linux Engineer with 12+ years to deploy and support secure Linux platforms in enterprise and data centre environments.

You will manage NixOS, RHEL, GUIX, and other immutable Linux platforms, configure networking, firewalls, and security zoning, and collaborate with multiple teams to maintain documentation and drive change management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Linux administration/engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with NixOS and RHEL.
• Experience with GUIX or immutable Linux OS.
• Strong knowledge of Linux networking, TCP/IP, VLANs, security zoning, and stateful firewalls.
• Hands-on nftables experience.
• Experience with enterprise firewalls: Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point.
• Strong troubleshooting and enterprise/data centre experience.
• Familiarity with ITIL and change management.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and support Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Check Point firewalls.
