Job summary

Smart Ims in Bengaluru is seeking a Sr. Linux Engineer to join our hybrid team. You will automate system administration, build container images, and support customers while improving deployment pipelines.

The ideal candidate has 10–13 years of Enterprise Linux experience, strong scripting skills, and hands-on containerization expertise with Podman and Docker in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10–13 yrs experience with Enterprise Linux environments (RHEL 8/9/10).
• Deep understanding of Linux internals, networking, and storage concepts.
• Hands-on with DNF/YUM package management.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Shell, or Python).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Podman, Docker).
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and automation pipelines.
• Experience in automated patching and system lifecycle management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Education: BE/BTech/MCA.
