Qualifications

• 6+ years of Linux administration experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Linux OS installation, patching, lifecycle management.
• Experience with security hardening, compliance, and incident response.
• Proficient scripting in Shell, Bash, Python; automation with Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, and SUSE servers.
• Perform OS installation, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Manage users, permissions, file systems, LVM, storage, and server security.
• Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity across enterprise environments.
• Troubleshoot complex Linux OS, server, storage, and network issues.
• Implement security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance standards.
• Configure and manage NFS, CIFS, DNS, DHCP, SSH, LDAP, and Active Directory integrations.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Bash, Python, and Ansible.
• Support virtualization platforms including VMware ESXi, vCenter, and KVM.
• Manage and support cloud-based Linux workloads on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Collaborate with application, database, cloud, and infra teams for issue resolution.
