Job summary

DGS Group Builders & Developers is seeking a Senior Liaisoning Engineer at its Goregaon (E) head office in Mumbai. You will manage statutory approvals for high‑rise, redevelopment, and commercial projects, interfacing with BMC, SRA, MHADA, CFO, and MoEF to ensure timely clearances.

Ideal candidates have 8–12+ years in Mumbai real estate, strong DCPR/RERA knowledge, and AutoCAD proficiency. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and regulators to keep projects compliant and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture (B.Arch), or a related field.
• 8 to 12+ years of extensive liaisoning experience strictly within the Mumbai Real Estate/ Builder / Developer industry.
• Mandatory hands-on experience dealing with High-Rise Residential, Redevelopment, and SRA/MHADA projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Mumbai’s DCPR, RERA guidelines, fire norms, and environmental clearance protocols.
• An established professional network and a proven track record of expediting approvals with local statutory bodies (BMC, SRA, MHADA).
• Proficiency in reviewing architectural layouts, with a basic understanding of AutoCAD and modern project documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end statutory approval processes for large-scale projects in Mumbai.
• Liaise with BMC, SRA, MHADA, CFO, and MoEF to secure IOD, CC, OC, BCC.
• Ensure drawings and GFC layouts comply with DCPR and local norms.
• Track approvals, resolve bottlenecks, and maintain compliance docs.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify conformance.

Role Summary

As a Senior Liaisoning Engineer at DGS Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring theseamless progression of our high-rise residential, commercial, and redevelopment projects.You will act as the crucial link between the organization and various municipal and stateregulatory bodies, navigating Mumbai's complex statutory landscape. Your expertise willguarantee that our signature "Sheetal" projects receive timely clearances and adhere to alllocal building regulations, DCPR guidelines, and fire norms.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the end-to-end statutory approval processes for large-scale residential,commercial, and redevelopment projects across Mumbai.
• Liaise effectively with key government and regulatory authorities including BMC, SRA(Slum Rehabilitation Authority), MHADA, CFO (Chief Fire Officer), and the MoEF.
• Secure all critical project milestones and clearances, including Intimation of Disapproval(IOD), Commencement Certificate (CC), Occupancy Certificate (OC), and Building Completion Certificate (BCC) in a time-bound manner.
• Collaborate seamlessly with principal architects, structural engineers, and MEP consultants to ensure working drawings and GFC layouts strictly comply with the latest Development Control and Promotion Regulations (DCPR) and local building norms.
• Proactively track the approval pipeline, resolve bottlenecks, and manage compliance documentation meticulously for ongoing developments.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress ensuring execution aligns with approved plans and statutory regulations.
• Provide expert advisory to the leadership team regarding policy changes, regulatory risks, and strategic compliance for new acquisitions and redevelopments.
