Job summary

Core Energy Systems Ltd. in Navi Mumbai seeks a Manager/Senior Manager Legal with EPC industry experience to lead contract management, compliance, dispute resolution, and support business operations from a legal perspective.

You will draft and review EPC contracts and subcontracts, manage arbitrations, monitor regulatory requirements, and advise internal stakeholders on contractual and legal risks for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of EPC contracts and commercial/legal documentation.
• Experience in arbitration, dispute resolution, and contract negotiations.
• Knowledge of corporate laws, contract laws, labour laws, and compliance.
• Good drafting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate EPC contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, LOIs, PO terms, and service contracts.
• Handle contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure legal risk mitigation in all contractual documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with external legal advisors and manage disputes/arbitrations.
• Provide legal support for EPC projects and review tender documents, indemnities, and insurance clauses.
• Maintain legal records, licenses, and case trackers; support internal audits.

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced legal professional from EPC/Infrastructure industry to handle contract management, legal compliance, dispute resolution, arbitration matters, and support business operations from a legal perspective.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management

• Draft, review, an EPC contracts, subcontractor agreements, vendor agreements, NDAs, LOI, PO terms, and service contracts.
• Handle contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure legal risk mitigation in all contractual documents.

Legal Compliance

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with external legal advisors and consultants.
• Monitor statutory and regulatory compliances.

Litigation & Dispute Management

• Handle arbitration, legal notices, disputes, and court matters.
• Coordinate documentation for ongoing litigation and claims.
• Support management in dispute resolution and legal strategy.

Project & Business Support

• Provide legal support for ongoing EPC projects and commercial activities.
• Review tender documents, bank guarantees, indemnities, and insurance clauses.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contractual and legal risks.

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain legal records, agreements, licenses, and case trackers.
• Support internal audits and compliance reviews.
