R K Transport & Constructions (RKTC) in Raipur, India seeks an experienced Corporate Legal professional to provide strategic legal advice across business, contracts, and employment matters.

The role requires handling tenders, EPC/infrastructure contracts, and various agreements, with a focus on risk assessment, litigation coordination, and regulatory compliance. Immediate joiners are preferred; strong drafting, negotiation, and MIS skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years of relevant experience in Corporate Legal, Infrastructure, Construction, Mining, Logistics, EPC, or similar industries.
• Strong knowledge of Indian contract, commercial, labour, and litigation laws.
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently handle legal matters and coordinate with external legal counsel.
• Good command of MS Office and Legal MIS.
• Immediate joiners / candidates serving short notice will be preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide legal advice to management on business, operational, contractual, commercial, and employment-related matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, agreements, MoUs, NDAs, work orders, vendor agreements, and other legal documents.
• Review tenders, LOIs, work orders, EPC/infrastructure contracts, and commercial agreements and identify legal and contractual risks.
• Handle and coordinate civil, commercial, labour, arbitration, and other litigation matters.
• Coordinate with external advocates, legal consultants, courts, tribunals, government departments, and statutory authorities.
• Draft legal notices, replies, affidavits, undertakings, representations, and other legal correspondence.
• Provide legal guidance on labour and employment matters, contract labour, industrial disputes, and HR-related legal issues.
• Monitor pending litigation, court cases, notices, hearings, and legal actions.
• Maintain and update Litigation MIS / Legal Tracker with case status, hearing dates, next actions, and financial exposure.
• Support management in dispute resolution, negotiations, settlements, and recovery matters.
• Ensure timely responses to legal notices and regulatory communications.
• Identify potential legal risks and recommend appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
• Keep management updated on relevant changes in laws, rules, regulations, and important judicial decisions.
• Provide legal support to project sites and business functions whenever required.
