Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer - VES to drive end-to-end display engineering efforts for vehicle integration. You will own technical delivery, quality, cost, and program timelines, and lead collaborations across E&E, Mechanical, Software, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and on-time delivery.

The role requires 10–15 years in automotive display engineering, strong leadership, and proven supplier management.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in ECE/EEE/E&I required.
• 10–15 years of automotive display/VES experience.
• Strong leadership and supplier management experience.
• Experience with system integration and vehicle-level requirements.

Responsibilities

Senior Lead Engineer - VES

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Lead the Display Engineering team end-to-end, with ownership of technical delivery, quality, cost, and program timelines.
• Define and review display module architecture, technical specifications, and vehicle-level integration, and drive key engineering/architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including E&E, Mechanical, Software, HMI, Styling, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Program teams to ensure seamless integration and on-time delivery.
• Ensure display quality, performance, and reliability, including compliance with engineering specifications, DVP&R, and vehicle-level requirements.
• Demonstrate strong technical leadership and problem-solving capability, with the ability to resolve complex engineering issues and deliver under tight timelines.
• Have proven experience in supplier technical management from concept to SOP, covering design reviews, technical alignment, validation, issue resolution, and production readiness.
• Possess strong vehicle-level system knowledge of automotive displays and related E&E aggregates, including interfaces and system interactions.
• Have working exposure to CATIA V5, particularly for section analysis, packaging reviews, interface assessment, and design/model guidance.
• Have hands‑on experience in display performance measurement and analysis, using imaging colorimeters, spectroradiometers, goniometers, photometers, and other optical measurement equipment.
• Stay abreast of the latest display technologies and industry trends, and assess their applicability to current and future vehicle programs.
• Be open to short- and medium‑term travel within India and overseas for supplier development, technical reviews, testing, validation, and issue resolution.
