Job summary

Vimo GetInsured is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to manage the full DevOps infrastructure and pipelines in a challenging SaaS environment. You will implement monitoring, reliability improvements, and code-driven infrastructure across multi-region and multi-cloud setups.

Experience with Go, Python, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is essential. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive CI/CD enhancements using Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field (Master/Bachelor).
• 8–12+ years experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Strong Linux, networking, and virtualization knowledge.
• CI/CD concepts and security awareness.

About the Role

Youll be joining our Application Development team managing the entire DevOps infrastructure

and pipelines. You will work in a challenging, consumer-facing problem space, where you can

make an immediate impact. You will get to work with the latest technologies, learn to use new

tools and get the opportunity to have your say in the final product. Youll work alongside a great

team in an open, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Building Monitoring, logging, alerting around our infrastructure and applications
• Improving the reliability of our Infrastructure systems and CI/CD pipelines
• Putting everything into code through extensive use of Terraform.
• Plan for reliability by designing systems to work across our multi-region and multi-cloud environments.
• Working in close collaboration with multi-functional teams
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues, application, and database related to the SaaS environment.
• Create innovative solutions to enhance client experience.
• Independently drive architecture, design, and development of our DevOps and Infrastructure.
• Use Agile methodology to develop and iterate on features.
• Create clean, testable code. Participate in code & design reviews.Analyze and improve performance as needed.
• Collaborate with clients and internal staff
• Function within a team and be a self-directed individual contributor.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field (Master / Bachelor level); Experience 8 years to 12+years
• Containerization (we use Kubernetes)
• Configuration tools and frameworks (we use Terraform, Helm)
• Knowledge of systems (Linux, GNU tooling), networking (OSI model, DNS, routing) and virtualization vs containerization
• Programming experience with Go/Python, and Git
• High level abstractions for system configuration and management
• Public clouds: AWS/Azure/GCP (we use both AWS and Azure)
• Other things we value are security awareness, and experience with CI/CD concepts.
