About The Role

We are seeking a new Lead Designer HVAC who will work closely with the Interior Design team and MEP Design team on design deliverables, and coordinate with the PM team on design implementation as per the design intent.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and guide a team of professional Design Engineers.
• Develop design concepts from project specifications, with all technical supporting documents from the initial stage to construction stage. Allocate and prioritise a team of Design Engineers.
• Check and evaluate design and material specifications for tender.
• Verify the material data sheets and material take‑off reports.
• Prepare project estimation and validate the project cost.
• Assist and guide drafting and design team to achieve the project time lines.
• Document, record and report on meetings, progress of jobs and construction completions from design and validation reports from Project Engineers.
• Incorporate learning from projects and customer feedback for design excellence.
• Guide and train the team on technology up‑gradation and coordinate at site point.
• Design, conceptualise, plan, review, motivate, train, guide, mentor and control the team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Design Engineer – HVAC.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience in corporate/office interiors projects is required.
• Thorough understanding of engineering standards.
• AutoCAD and Revit application design skills.
• Knowledge of project management and procurement.
• Team leadership, conflict resolution, team administration and management skills.
• Good communication skills.
