Job summary

Space Matrix is seeking a talented Interior Designer – Workplace to join our Hyderabad design studio. You will focus on corporate/workplace interior projects, developing innovative concepts, leading client presentations, and overseeing design management for successful delivery.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, strong design sensibility, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop. You will collaborate with a diverse team and may travel for site visits and client meetings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commercial interior/corporate interiors/workplace design with team management.
• Strong design sensibility and ability to develop project from concept to execution.

Responsibilities

• Strategise and develop design solutions aligned with programmes, budgets and client objectives.
• Manage multiple projects including feasibility studies and defining design requirements.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure quality, budget and schedule integrity.
• Lead and participate in project meetings and client presentations, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
• Oversee design management and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Conduct quality control reviews of design documentation and monitor deliverables for accuracy.
• Participate in client work sessions and design reviews to incorporate feedback.
• Travel as needed for project presentations, coordination meetings and site visits.

About The Role

We are seeking a talented Interior Designer – Workplace to join our design studio. In this role, you will focus on designing corporate/workplace interior projects. Working closely with the design team, you will develop innovative design concepts, lead client presentations and pitches, and oversee design management and project coordination to ensure successful delivery.

• Manage and contribute to multiple projects, including pre‑design services such as feasibility studies and defining design requirements.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure smooth progression of projects from one phase to the next, maintaining quality, budget, and schedule integrity.
• Lead and participate in project meetings and client presentations, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Oversee design management and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders as required.
• Conduct quality control reviews of design documentation and monitor project team deliverables to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Registered Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
