Persistent Systems Limited in India is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise web applications.

You will work across frontend and backend layers, using React.js, Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes to deliver secure, high-performance solutions in a cloud-native environment. Collaboration with architects, product owners, QA, and stakeholders is essential.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end enterprise applications using Java, React.js, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes.
• Build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance web interfaces using React.js and modern frontend development practices.
• Develop scalable backend services and business logic using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
• Build and manage microservices-based applications following cloud-native architecture principles.
• Develop and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes platforms.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices to protect applications and data.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application performance, scalability, and production issues.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to CI/CD implementation and deployment automation initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system designs, and implementation guidelines.

• 5-11 years of experience in Full Stack Application Development.
• Strong hands-on experience building modern web applications using React.js.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and handling JSON-based data exchanges.

• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL database design and administration.
• Experience with query optimization, indexing, performance tuning, and database troubleshooting.

• Experience working with relational databases and database optimization techniques.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes environments.
• Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and application performance management tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
