We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and SQL. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade backend applications capable of handling high transaction volumes and complex business requirements. This role requires strong technical expertise in scalable architecture, database optimization, distributed systems, and backend service development, along with excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and support microservices-based architectures for enterprise applications.
• Design and implement robust RESTful APIs and backend integrations.
• Develop high-performance, secure, and resilient backend solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability for high-volume transactional systems.
• Design and implement database solutions with a focus on performance, availability, and maintainability.
• Write, optimize, and tune complex SQL queries for large-scale applications.
• Perform database performance tuning, indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
• Integrate distributed systems, messaging platforms, and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis for critical incidents.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.
• Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical planning sessions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Support CI/CD processes and contribute to automation and DevOps initiatives.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance across projects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 7–11 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, Collections Framework, Multithreading, Concurrency, and JVM internals.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and software engineering best practices.
• Advanced SQL expertise with hands-on experience writing and optimizing complex queries.
• Strong experience in database performance tuning, indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server databases.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and enterprise application architecture.
• Hands-on experience with JPA, Hibernate, and ORM frameworks.
• Experience working with high-volume transactional systems and large datasets.
• Knowledge of messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Experience working in Linux environments and troubleshooting production issues.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, clean code principles, and code quality standards.
• Proven ability to perform root-cause analysis and solve complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within Agile teams.
