Persistent Systems Limited is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer (React & Spring Boot) to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade applications. You will develop scalable RESTful APIs, implement security controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across Multiple Persistent locations.

The role requires 5–11 years of experience, strong Java and React.js expertise, and hands-on Spring Framework/Microservices work. Hybrid work model and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 5–11 years of software development experience in enterprise application development.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, OOP, collections, multithreading, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Java and React.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot and modern backend practices.
• Design, develop, and optimize database solutions with PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Build and maintain batch processing solutions using Spring Batch or similar frameworks.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security controls following OWASP guidelines.
• Develop and consume REST APIs with documentation, versioning, and integration standards.
• Work with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS for asynchronous messaging.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, QA, and product owners to meet requirements.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and modernization initiatives.
• Support production deployments and continuous improvement.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, development, and release activities.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong expertise in Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices Architecture.
• Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Expertise in React.js including components, hooks, state management, and API integrations.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
• Experience in database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of batch processing frameworks such as Spring Batch.
• Experience with messaging technologies including Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS.
• Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and OWASP guidelines.
• Experience working on cloud-native and large-scale distributed applications.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
