Deutsche Bank AG in Pune, India, seeks a Senior Java Developer to design and implement high‑quality Java (and Kotlin) features. You will partner with business analysts, QA, and cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable solutions in a cloud‑native environment.

The role emphasizes ownership of components through production, mentoring juniors, and contributing to system stability with modern monitoring and automation practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Java development.
• Experience designing high‑load distributed systems.
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with modern cloud technologies (Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Grafana, Tanka).
• Experience with SDLC tools: Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new functionality on Java and Kotlin where applicable.
• Collaborate with business and BAs on functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Co‑work with QA on test automation for new and existing features.
• Investigate and fix production incidents; drive stability and monitoring improvements.
• Design subsystems and inter-system protocols; mentor junior engineers.
