Job summary

Kaidoko is seeking a Senior Backend Developer with deep Java expertise to design, implement, and optimize scalable backend systems. You will work across Spring Boot and Hibernate, building microservices and integrating with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

You will lead technical initiatives, mentor juniors, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance applications with a focus on security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java with frameworks like Spring Boot/Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including services like EC2, Lambda, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of security best practices in backend development (authentication, authorization, encryption).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• 5+ years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
