Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to design, implement, and optimize scalable backend services. You will work with Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to deliver robust enterprise-grade applications.

Responsibilities include building RESTful APIs, applying design patterns, and ensuring code quality through testing and reviews. You will engage in system design discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 9-12 years of hands-on experience in Core Java and J2EE development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Solid experience in building REST APIs.
• In-depth knowledge of OOPS, design patterns, and data structures.
• Strong understanding of multithreading and concurrency in Java.
• Experience in system design and scalable application development.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes (basic), and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
