Job summary
Siemens Energy is seeking a HRSD System Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow HRSD across global operations. You will architect end‑to‑end solutions, drive integrations with HRIS systems, ensure data privacy, and mentor the project team.
The role demands deep HRSD expertise, multiple full HRSD deployments, CSA and HRSD certifications, and strong English communication. Portuguese is a plus and a related STEM degree is required.
Qualifications
- 6+ years hands-on ServiceNow experience, incl. HRSD
- 2–3 full HRSD implementations completed
- Strong knowledge of HRSD modules: Employee Case Management, Employee Center Pro, Lifecycle Event Management, Document Management, Knowledge Management
- Solid understanding of Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Portal/UI Builder, ACLs, Business Rules, Script Includes, CMDB
- Experience with HRIS/payroll integrations (SAP SuccessFactors, Workday)
- Multi-country/multi-language HR configurations
- CSA and HRSD Implementation Specialist certifications; CAD preferred
- Excellent English communication; Portuguese a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related field
- Experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities for HR use cases
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technical architecture for ServiceNow HRSD implementations across modules
- Translate HR requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Lead solution design workshops and create architecture docs (designs, diagrams, data models)
- Define coding standards and platform governance across HRSD
- Architect HRSD integrations with SAP SuccessFactors, Workday and payroll systems
- Oversee data model design, security (ACLs, data policies, PII) and scalability for HR data
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and analysts
- Conduct code and design reviews for performance, security, maintainability
- Support pre‑sales and scoping with effort estimates and technical input
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases and HRSD roadmap, advise on upgrades
- Ensure GDPR/compliance for employee data on the platform

As a HRSD System Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in the successful implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the ServiceNow HRSD system, ensuring it meets the organization’s needs and drives efficiency and productivity. Your knowledge kit should include a broad technical knowledge and experience across varying infrastructure requirements, development, system architecture and design.
- Design and own the end‑to‑end technical architecture for ServiceNow HRSD implementations, including Employee Center, Case and Knowledge Management, Lifecycle Events, and HR Service Portal.
- Translate business requirements from HR stakeholders into scalable, well‑governed technical solutions aligned with ServiceNow best practices.
- Lead solution design workshops, produce architecture documentation (solution designs, integration diagrams, data models), and present recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
- Define and enforce coding standards, platform governance, and configuration best practices across the HRSD workstream.
- Architect integrations between ServiceNow and third‑party/HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, payroll systems) using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
- Oversee data model design, security architecture (ACLs, data policies, PII handling), and platform scalability considerations specific to HR data.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and configuration analysts within the project team.
- Conduct code and design reviews to ensure solutions meet performance, security, and maintainability standards.
- Support pre‑sales and scoping activities, including effort estimation and technical proposal input, where required.
- Stay current with ServiceNow platform releases and HRSD product roadmap, advising on upgrade impacts and new feature adoption.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (including GDPR) in the handling of employee data within the platform.
- 6+ years of hands‑on experience with the ServiceNow platform, including at least 3 years focused specifically on HR Service Delivery (HRSD).
- Proven experience architecting and delivering at least 2–3 full‑cycle HRSD implementations.Strong knowledge of ServiceNow HRSD modules: Employee Case Management, Employee Center Pro, Lifecycle Event Management, Document Management, and Knowledge Management.
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform fundamentals: Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Portal/UI Builder, ACLs, Business Rules, Script Includes, and CMDB.
- Experience designing integrations with HRIS/payroll systems (SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar).
- Exposure to multi‑country/multi‑language HR service delivery configurations.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.ServiceNow certifications required: Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist – HRSD.
- Additional certifications preferred: Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); Portuguese language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities for HR use cases.
