Job summary

Truww in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Interior Designer - Modular to lead end-to-end modular residential projects on-site, from concept to execution.

You will gather client requirements, create space plans, develop construction drawings, coordinate FF&E, supervise site visits, mentor junior designers, and ensure timely delivery aligned with Truww’s quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Interior Design and Architecture, with experience in modular residential projects.
• Proficiency in Space Planning and layout optimization to create functional and aesthetically appealing interiors.
• Ability to develop and interpret detailed Construction Drawings for modular components and overall interior works.
• Experience managing FF&E selection, specification, and coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage multiple stakeholders, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate client needs into design solutions.
• Prior experience in modular design or residential interiors in a fast-paced environment is strongly preferred.

Role Description

The Senior Interior Designer - Modular role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role involves leading end-to-end modular interior design projects, including client requirement gathering, space planning, and concept development for residential interiors. The Senior Interior Designer will prepare detailed construction drawings, coordinate FF&E selections, and ensure seamless integration of modular elements with overall design standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with project managers and execution teams, conducting site visits, reviewing workmanship, and ensuring that designs are delivered on time and align with Truww’s quality and aesthetic benchmarks. The role also includes mentoring junior designers, maintaining design documentation, and supporting continuous improvement of design processes and guidelines.
