Job summary

Faboolux is seeking a skilled Interior Designer for Modular Interiors to work on projects in Coimbatore and Kochi. You will meet clients, translate requirements into modular space plans, and create 2D/3D designs for kitchens, wardrobes and living spaces.

The role requires strong software skills (AutoCAD, SketchUp), excellent client communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Travel for client meetings and site visits within Coimbatore/Kochi will be needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in interior design or architecture.
• 5–10 years of interior design/modular interiors experience preferred.
• Experience with modular kitchens, wardrobes and residential/commercial interiors beneficial.
• Freshers with strong software skills and a strong portfolio may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients to understand requirements, lifestyle, preferences and budget.
• Design modular interiors including kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, bedrooms and living spaces.
• Prepare space plans, 2D layouts, working drawings and 3D visualisations.
• Conduct site visits, take measurements and assess site conditions.
• Prepare design presentations, material specs, colour schemes and finishes.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Project and Installation teams for execution.
• Ensure designs are feasible and execution-friendly; prepare BOQs and specs.

We are looking for a creative, customer-focused and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our Modular Interiors team in Coimbatore & Kochi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet clients and understand their requirements, lifestyle, preferences and budget.
• Design modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, bedrooms, living rooms and complete home interiors.
• Prepare space planning, 2D layouts, working drawings and 3D visualisations.
• Conduct site visits, take accurate measurements and understand site conditions.
• Prepare design presentations, material specifications, colour schemes and finish selections.
• Understand modular furniture, materials, hardware, accessories and manufacturing requirements.
• Present designs to clients and incorporate revisions based on feedback.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Project and Installation teams for smooth execution.
• Ensure approved designs are practical, technically feasible and execution-friendly.
• Prepare/coordinate BOQs, specifications and design-related documentation.
• Conduct site visits during execution to resolve design-related issues.

  Qualification & Experience

  • Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in interior design/modular interiors preferred.
  • Experience in modular kitchens, wardrobes and residential/Commercial interiors will be an added advantage.
  • Freshers with strong software skills and a good design portfolio may also be considered.
