Job summary

SpazioLiv in Pune is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead end-to-end residential projects from concept through execution on a full-time, on-site basis. You will meet clients to understand requirements, develop design concepts, space plans, and mood boards, and prepare detailed drawings and specifications.

You will coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure designs are implemented on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Strong portfolio of residential projects.
• Proficiency in space planning for functional layouts.
• Experience in FF&E selection and coordination.
• Strong software skills: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit.
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience leading project teams, managing timelines and budgets.
• Ability to develop Construction Drawings and documentation.

Role Description

The Senior Interior Designer will lead end-to-end residential interior projects, from concept development to final execution, in a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand requirements, developing design concepts, space plans, and mood boards, and preparing detailed drawings and specifications. The role involves coordinating with architects, contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure designs are implemented accurately, on time, and within budget. The Senior Interior Designer will oversee FF&E selection, site supervision, and quality checks, while mentoring junior designers and contributing to continuous improvement of design standards and processes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Interior Design and Architecture, with a strong portfolio of residential projects.
• Proficiency in Space Planning, ensuring functional and aesthetic layouts tailored to client lifestyles.
• Ability to develop accurate Construction Drawings and documentation for execution and approvals.
• Experience in FF&E selection and coordination, including furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
• Strong skills in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
• Excellent client-facing communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven experience leading project teams, managing timelines, budgets, and on-site coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential interiors is highly preferred.
