Job summary

HAIR RAP BY YOYO in Ahmedabad is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead the design and execution of salon interiors, from concept development to final installation, ensuring the brand’s creative identity and a premium guest experience.

You will coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors, manage space planning, prepare design presentations, review drawings, and oversee FF&E specifications, site visits, budget awareness, and timely delivery of projects.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in interior design and space planning to create functional, aesthetic salon environments.
• Knowledge of architecture and building systems to coordinate effectively with project stakeholders.
• Ability to produce and review detailed construction drawings for implementation and compliance.
• Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit) and visualization tools.
• Proven experience in retail, hospitality, or salon interior projects, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and an understanding of brand-driven design and customer experience.

Role Description

The Senior Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for leading the design and execution of salon interiors, from concept development to final installation, ensuring that spaces reflect the brand’s creative identity and deliver a premium guest experience. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, preparing design presentations, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and overseeing construction drawings and FF&E specifications. The Senior Interior Designer will collaborate closely with salon leadership to align aesthetics with functionality, ergonomics, and operational needs. The role also involves site visits, quality checks, budget awareness, and timely delivery of design projects.
