Job summary

Persistent Systems in Pune is seeking an experienced Senior Insurance Process Consultant to support policy modernization initiatives. The role focuses on understanding legacy processes, rewriting policies, and collaborating with RPA teams to drive automation.

The candidate should have 5–8 years of experience in insurance process consulting, with strong knowledge of US Personal/Auto/Home insurance, and experience in Agile environments using Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Process Consulting, Business Analysis, Insurance Consulting, or similar roles.
• Strong domain expertise in US Personal, Auto, and Home Insurance.
• Hands-on experience in policy rewrite, modernization, migration, or insurance transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of policy administration processes and insurance operations.
• Excellent process mapping and documentation skills (AS-IS/TO-BE).
• Experience documenting business rules, decision points, and exception handling.
• Good understanding of RPA concepts and rule-based automation.
• Experience working with business stakeholders, clients, and leadership teams.
• Demonstrated leadership in coordinating analysts or cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile environments using Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Understand, analyze, and document legacy insurance policy rewrite processes, including business rules, workflows, decision points, and exceptions.
• Map end-to-end policy lifecycle processes, including issuance, endorsement, cancellation, renewal, and policy rewrite activities.
• Lead workshops with client stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Define and document business requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Act as the liaison between business users, solution architects, and UiPath delivery teams.
• Collaborate with RPA teams to clarify process logic, exceptions, and automation feasibility.
• Support UAT activities and validate business requirements against delivered solutions.
• Conduct process assessments and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
• Document AS-IS and TO-BE processes clearly.
• Lead and coordinate analysts and cross-functional teams for timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
• Manage client communication and provide regular project updates on progress, risks, and dependencies.

This role requires strong domain knowledge, leadership capability, and experience working in policy administration transformation programs.

What You'll Do:

• Understand, analyze, and document legacy insurance policy rewrite processes, including business rules, workflows, decision points, and exceptions.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5–8 years of experience in Process Consulting, Business Analysis, Insurance Consulting, or similar roles.

• Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
