Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot Informatica batch jobs and workflows.

• Analyze and resolve ETL/data integration issues.
• Maintain dashboards and operational reporting; develop automation scripts in Python and Shell.
• Administer and support GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Airflow/Composer, networking, IAM, DNS, security).
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications; drive cost optimization and KPI automation.

Informatica + GCP Support Engineer (24x7 Production Support) - Role Overview

This position is a senior-level Production Support and Cloud Operations role responsible for maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise data platforms built on Informatica and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role supports a 24/7 operational environment with monthly rotational weekend and night shift coverage to ensure uninterrupted business-critical data processing and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

Informatica Support & Administration

• Administer and support Informatica PowerCenter, PowerExchange, and CDC Publisher environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Informatica batch jobs and workflows.
• Provide Control-M job scheduling and production support.
• Analyze and resolve ETL/data integration issues.
• Maintain dashboards and support operational reporting.
• Develop and maintain Python and Shell scripts for automation.

GCP Administration & Support

• Administer and support Google Cloud Platform services, including:
• BigQuery
• Cloud Storage Buckets
• Airflow/Composer Jobs
• Networking, IAM, DNS, and Security Components
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and application issues.
• Implement automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives.
• Define, measure, and automate cloud operations KPIs.
• Support cloud migration, setup, maintenance, and governance activities.

Database & DevOps Support

• Write and support Oracle SQL and Exasol SQL queries.
• Support Jenkins pipelines and deployment processes.
• Perform root cause analysis and proactive issue resolution.

Stakeholder & Operational Management

• Coordinate with business users, application teams, and infrastructure teams.
• Provide incident, problem, and change management support.
• Ensure proper documentation, planning, implementation, and follow-up.
