Job summary

Fawia Gurgaon seeks an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to plan and execute HVAC systems for industrial and commercial projects. You will handle load calculations, equipment selection, and technical specifications, and prepare and review drawings and BOQs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC design and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of VRF/VRV, Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, ducting, and chilled water systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC load calculations and equipment selection.
• Ability to read and prepare technical drawings and BOQs.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant HVAC design software.
• Good understanding of site execution, testing, and commissioning.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute HVAC systems for industrial and commercial projects.
• Prepare HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Prepare and review HVAC drawings, layouts, ducting, piping, insulation, and equipment requirements.
• Select suitable equipment including VRF/VRV systems, Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, and exhaust systems.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal project teams for technical discussions and approvals.
• Supervise HVAC installation activities at project sites.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Prepare material requirements and coordinate with the Purchase team for timely procurement.
• Monitor site progress and resolve technical and execution-related issues.
• Conduct inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover of HVAC systems.
• Prepare project documentation, inspection reports, testing reports, and completion documents.
• Ensure proper safety and quality standards during installation and commissioning.
