Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the design, installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems while maintaining compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and optimize HVAC systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
• Prepare HVAC load calculations, equipment sizing, ducting layouts, and ventilation system designs.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Monitor system performance and recommend energy-efficient solutions.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, and contractors during project execution.
• Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and provide corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Evaluate HVAC equipment and recommend suitable selections based on project requirements.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation activities.

Required Qualifications

Diploma or bachelors degree in:

• HVAC Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Building Environment & Energy Engineering
• Or other related engineering disciplines

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HVAC engineering, maintenance, project execution, or building services engineering.
• Experience in HVAC system design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance is preferred.
• Experience with commercial buildings, industrial facilities, hospitals, hotels, or large-scale infrastructure projects will be an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of HVAC principles, psychrometrics, refrigeration systems, and ventilation design.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, cooling towers, pumps, and ducting systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC design software and engineering tools.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, and local building regulations.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and schematics.
