Job summary

UEDC (Upcrest Engineering Design Consultant) is seeking a Senior HVAC Design Engineer to lead load calculations, draft detailed HVAC plans, and ensure regulatory compliance for sector-02 Noida projects. You will estimate costs, coordinate with architects and engineers, and ensure seamless integration with building design.

The role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, proficiency in HVAC software, and excellent communication to liaise with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Strong mathematical skills for precise calculations and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in HVAC design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Calculate Heating and Cooling Needs: Conduct load calculations to determine heating and cooling requirements for different spaces and equipment.
• Interpret and Draft Plans: Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to design HVAC systems. Prepare detailed drawings and schematics for ductwork and piping systems.
• Calculate Ventilation Requirements: Determine ventilation needs and design systems accordingly, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Determine Budget Costs: Estimate costs for HVAC systems and equipment, preparing comprehensive budget proposals for clients.
• Coordinate with Others: Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems with overall building design.
• Adhere to Building Codes: Ensure all designs and installations comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards. Obtain necessary permits as required.
