Job summary

iDeCK seeks an experienced HVAC Design professional in Bengaluru to lead design tasks for VRF/VRV and large-scale HVAC projects. You will prepare layouts, perform heat-load calculations, and coordinate with MEP teams to ensure high standards of execution.

The role requires 8–10 years in design consultancy environments, with proficiency in AutoCAD and HVAC software; BIM knowledge is a plus and commissioning experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 8–10 years of relevant HVAC experience, preferably in design consultancy/PMC.
• Experience on commercial, hospital, airport, high-rise, institutional or large infra projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and HVAC design/calculation software.
• Revit MEP/BIM knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• HVAC design, heat-load calculations, equipment selection, and duct/pipe sizing.
• Review of VRF/VRV, Chilled Water, AHU, FCU, FAHU, Ductable, ventilation & exhaust systems.
• Preparation/review of HVAC layouts, schematics, equipment schedules and design drawings.
• Technical coordination with MEP disciplines, consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Site supervision, installation review, testing and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with NBC, ASHRAE, IS, SMACNA and applicable HVAC standards.
