Job summary

Envigaurd Engineering And Turnkey Projects Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to lead the design of HVAC systems for diverse building projects in Bengaluru and on-site locations. You will handle heat load calculations, ducting, piping, and equipment sizing, with emphasis on ASHRAE, IS, SMACNA and NBC standards.

The role requires 3–8 years of experience, BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and solid AutoCAD skills; Revit MEP is an advantage.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience in HVAC design for commercial, industrial projects.
• Proficiency in heat load calculations, duct sizing and equipment sizing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC designs based on project requirements and standards.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Design Engineer responsible for designing HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, hospital, and other building projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of HVAC design calculations, equipment selection, ducting, piping, and preparation of technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC system designs based on project requirements and applicable standards.
• Perform heat load calculations and cooling/heating load analysis.
• Design and size ducting, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, and ventilation systems.
• Select appropriate HVAC equipment such as AHU, FCU, Chiller, VRF/VRV, Package AC, Pumps, Cooling Towers, and Fans.
• Prepare HVAC layouts, schematic drawings, sections, and detailed drawings.
• Review architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing drawings for HVAC coordination.
• Prepare BOQ, equipment schedules, material specifications, and quantity take-offs.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, site engineers, and other MEP teams.
• Conduct pressure drop calculations and equipment sizing.
• Ensure proper air distribution, ventilation, and fresh-air requirements.
• Review shop drawings and coordinate with the site team during execution.
• Provide technical support for installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Review vendor/subcontractor technical submissions and material selections.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications and applicable ASHRAE, IS, SMACNA, NBC, and other relevant standards.
• Identify design clashes and coordinate with the BIM/CAD team for resolution.
• Prepare technical reports and design documentation.
