Job summary

Innowell Engineering International in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is seeking a Senior HVAC Engineer to design and deliver HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and data center projects. You will perform load calculations, produce layouts and specifications, and ensure alignment with project timelines and client requirements.

The role requires 6–8 years of HVAC design experience in an MEP consultancy, proficiency in AutoCAD, and familiarity with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NBC and Indian codes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and data centers.
• Perform cooling and heating load calculations using industry-standard methodologies.
• Prepare HVAC design drawings, layouts, schematics, and technical specifications using AutoCAD.
• Develop ducting layouts, piping systems, equipment selection, and plant room designs.
• Prepare ventilation calculations and design solutions for specialized areas.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Structural, and Architectural disciplines.
• Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and vendor proposals.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, NBC, IS Codes, SMACNA, and other relevant standards.
• Conduct design reviews and value engineering to optimize costs and performance.
• Participate in client meetings, design presentations, and technical discussions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Support project execution teams during construction and commissioning phases.
