Position Overview

This is a senior, standalone HR role embedded within the company's digital entertainment vertical. The person in this role will own the full people function: building hiring pipelines across creative, content, and tech talent; designing compensation structures; and driving performance and culture initiatives as the business scales. This is a core team position with direct influence on how the vertical attracts, retains, and develops its workforce.

Role & Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end talent acquisition for the digital entertainment vertical - sourcing, assessing, and onboarding profiles across digital content, creative, product, and technology functions
• Design and execute structured onboarding programs that accelerate time-to-productivity for new hires across creative and tech tracks
• Lead compensation benchmarking exercises and build salary bands aligned to digital entertainment and tech market standards
• Drive the full performance management cycle - goal-setting, mid-year reviews, calibration, and feedback frameworks
• Build and sustain employee engagement programs, culture rituals, and internal communication initiatives specific to a digital-first team
• Partner with business leaders to identify org design needs and translate them into hiring and people plans
• Track and report HR metrics (attrition, offer-to-join ratio, engagement scores) to leadership and iterate on people strategy accordingly

Must Have Criteria

• 8-12 years of HR generalist or HRBP experience, with demonstrated ownership of the full people function
• End-to-end talent acquisition experience spanning both creative/content roles (writers, producers, RJs) and tech roles (engineers, product managers) within a digital entertainment or media business
• Hands-on experience designing or restructuring compensation bands and conducting market benchmarking
• Prior ownership of performance management cycles - including framework design, calibration, and manager enablement
• Experience running employee engagement and culture-building programs in a team of 100+ employees
• Comfortable operating as a standalone or lean-team HR function with high ownership expectations

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in a startup or new business unit setup - building HR processes from scratch
• Exposure to OTT, digital content, or media-tech companies
• Familiarity with HRMS and ATS platforms used in mid-size media or tech organizations
• MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in HR from a recognized institution
