Senior Hardware Design Engineer
Overview
The Senior Hardware Engineer will provide high-level technical contribution in designing, testing, and validating specialized equipment, focusing on embedded systems, circuit design, and multi-layer PCBs, ensuring compliance with stringent quality standards. Power Electronics experience is a MUST.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, simulate, and optimize power electronic circuits including:
- Utilize simulation and modeling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, LTspice, and other relevant platforms for circuit analysis, design verification, and performance optimization.
- Build hardware prototypes and perform hands-on testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis activities.
- Collaborate with PCB layout engineers or directly support PCB layout activities with focus on:
- High-current and high-voltage routing
- Thermal management
- Design optimization for manufacturability and reliability
- Select suitable power electronic and analog components considering electrical, thermal, reliability, and application-specific requirements.
- Conduct thermal analysis, qualification testing, screening tests, and EMI/EMC evaluations.
- Participate in Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR) conducted by customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support product development activities throughout the complete product lifecycle.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable military standards, safety requirements, and engineering best practices.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including:
- Technical Specifications
- Hardware Design Documents
- Bill of Materials (BOMs)
- Acceptance Test Reports (ATR)
- Reliability Calculations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in:
- Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- Instrumentation Engineering
- Telecommunication Engineering
- Power Electronics Engineering
- Other relevant disciplines
Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Power Electronics Design and Development.
- Strong experience in Analog Circuit Design and Power Supply Design.
- Candidates should have successfully completed and delivered at least 4–5 Power Electronics projects.
- Experience in Aerospace or Defence Power Supply Design will be considered an added advantage but is not mandatory.

Compensation
Salary Range: ₹45,000 – ₹50,000 per month (Based on experience, technical expertise, and interview performance).
