Responsibilities

• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices
• Support Guidewire upgrades and patches; troubleshoot complex issues

Role Overview:

Senior Guidewire Developer5+ years of GW ClaimCenter / PolicyCenter Integration and development experience5+ years of experience with coding Gosu LanguageBuild technical diagrams / design documents.Write programs, configure / package / deploy software.Perform peer code reviews.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.Design and implement functional requirements and integrations with external systems.Ensure standard methodologies are followed in code development, testing, and deployment.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Consult on technical aspects of Guidewire upgrades and patches.Resolve and address complex technical issues promptly.Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance functionalityExpertise in TypeScript, JavaScript , REACT, GOSU Language, configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators,Read code in other languages and reverse engineer products.Agile software development, including the use of Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, etc.Domain knowledge on Property & Casualty InsuranceExpertise in the end-to-end design and development of business database applications.Experience building modern web applications and designing Web APIs with REST/JSON.In-depth understanding of design thinking and customer-centric development.
