Job summary

N Consulting Limited is seeking a senior Guidewire developer to lead integration and development for Guidewire Claim Center and Policy Center. You will work on Gosu and web technologies, mentor teammates, and collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

You will contribute to architecture, design, and upgrades, while ensuring quality code in an agile environment using tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent experience.
• Guidewire Associate Certification and Digital experience are required.
• Hands-on Guidewire Cloud experience is a plus.

Job description

We are looking for Guidewire Claim Center / Policy Centre developerSenior Guidewire Digital Developer5+ years of GW Claim Center / Policy Center Integration and development experience5+ years of experience with coding Gosu Language

• Build technical diagrams / design documents.
• Write programs, configure / package / deploy software.
• Perform peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Design and implement functional requirements and integrations with external systems.
• Ensure standard methodologies are followed in code development, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Consult on technical aspects of Guidewire upgrades and patches.
• Resolve and address complex technical issues promptly.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance functionality
• Expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript , REACT, GOSU Language, configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators,
• Read code in other languages and reverse engineer products.
• Agile software development, including the use of Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Domain knowledge on Property & Casualty Insurance
• Expertise in the end-to-end design and development of business database applications.
• Experience building modern web applications and designing Web APIs with REST/JSON.
• In-depth understanding of design thinking and customer-centric development.

Must have:

• Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Guidewire Associate Certification.
• Guidewire Digital experience.
• Experience working on Guidewire CloudHands-on experience with Guidewire . Proficiency in designing, developing, and managing Guidewire features and capabilities.
• Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Tools: TeamCity, Bitbucket, DataDog, Guidewire Home.
• Experience in implementing Cloud APIs/WebServices

Nice to have:

• Guidewire Ace Certification.
• Experience writing automated GUnit tests for integrations using Guidewire data builders.
• Experience upgrading Guidewire Cloud versions.
• Experience handling Guidewire Cloud Assurance Reports and leading the resolution.
• Experience with App Events and Event Driven Architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of Guidewire Cloud App Events and Pub/Sub models, including event creation, consumption, and mapping to downstream systems.
