Job summary

VMC Soft Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer to join our insurance tech team in India.

You will focus on ClaimCenter configuration, integration, and Gosu development to deliver scalable policy and claim systems. The role requires hands-on experience with Guidewire platforms, UI & data model work, web services, and enterprise integrations, with opportunities to participate in upgrades and migrations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of total IT experience.
• 4+ years of relevant Guidewire ClaimCenter experience.
• Strong hands-on development experience in ClaimCenter Configuration and Integration.
• Must be a development profile, not a testing/QA-only profile.
• Experience working on enterprise Guidewire implementations/upgrades is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, customize, and maintain Guidewire ClaimCenter applications.
• Work extensively on Guidewire ClaimCenter Configuration and Integration.
• Develop solutions using Gosu scripting, Guidewire UI, and Data Model.
• Perform Guidewire configuration and customization based on business requirements.
• Work on Guidewire upgrades and migration activities using Guidewire tools.
• Develop and integrate Web Services and APIs using XML/JSON.
• Design and troubleshoot integrations between ClaimCenter and external systems.
• Work with Oracle databases, including queries and data validation.
• Use GitHub for source code management and version control.
• Work with application servers/containers such as Tomcat, JBoss, or WebSphere.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other development teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, deployment, and application support activities.
