Job summary

N Consulting Limited in Hyderabad, India is seeking a Senior Guidewire Developer to lead design and implementation of Guidewire Claim Center and Policy Center integrations. The role requires 5+ years of GW experience, Gosu and cloud tools exposure, and mentoring peers.

You will work across architectures, APIs, and modern web app patterns, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions in an agile environment. This is a hands-on senior position with client interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Guidewire Associate Certification.
• Guidewire Digital experience required.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud and hands-on Guidewire features.
• Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Tools: TeamCity, Bitbucket, DataDog, Guidewire Home.
• Experience implementing Cloud APIs/WebServices.

Responsibilities

• Build technical diagrams and design documents.
• Develop programs and configure/package/deploy software.
• Perform peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and implement integrations with external systems.
• Ensure standard development, testing and deployment practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Advise on Guidewire upgrades and patches.
• Resolve complex technical issues promptly.
• Monitor system performance and propose improvements.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Gosu and Guidewire configurations.
• Read and reverse engineer code in other languages.
• Experience with Agile, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence.
• Knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
• End-to-end design and development of business applications.
• Building web apps and REST/JSON APIs.
• Design thinking and customer-centric development.

• Expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript , REACT, GOSU Language, configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators,
• Read code in other languages and reverse engineer products.
• Agile software development, including the use of Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Domain knowledge on Property & Casualty Insurance
• Expertise in the end-to-end design and development of business database applications.
• Experience building modern web applications and designing Web APIs with REST/JSON.
• In-depth understanding of design thinking and customer-centric development.

Must have:

• Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Guidewire Associate Certification.
• Guidewire Digital experience.
• Experience working on Guidewire CloudHands-on experience with Guidewire . Proficiency in designing, developing, and managing Guidewire features and capabilities.
• Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Tools: TeamCity, Bitbucket, DataDog, Guidewire Home.
• Experience in implementing Cloud APIs/WebServices

Nice to have:

• Guidewire Ace Certification.
• Experience writing automated GUnit tests for integrations using Guidewire data builders.
• Experience upgrading Guidewire Cloud versions.
• Experience handling Guidewire Cloud Assurance Reports and leading the resolution.
• Experience with App Events and Event Driven Architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of Guidewire Cloud App Events and Pub/Sub models, including event creation, consumption, and mapping to downstream systems.
