Job summary

Sterling New Horizons is seeking a hands-on graphic designer with an eye for production-ready visuals and a strong attention to detail. The role emphasizes packaging, print materials, and AI-enabled workflows to accelerate ideation and output.

You will design toy and educational packaging, catalogs, brochures, and digital assets, coordinating with production teams to ensure color accuracy and print quality. 5+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in toy/educational-product packaging is a strong advantage.
• Ability to produce print-ready artwork and dielines.
• Proficiency with CMYK/RGB and color management.

Responsibilities

Working Days: MondaySaturday

Working Hours: 9:00 AM 6:30 PM

What Were Looking For

The ideal candidate should be a strong hands-on designer with excellent attention to detail and a good understanding of how designs actually go into production.

1. Design Skills — MUST HAVE

• Expert-level knowledge of CorelDRAW
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Good understanding of InDesign and other relevant design software
• Strong sense of layout, typography, colour, composition, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to create clean, premium, child-friendly designs

2. Packaging & Print — VERY IMPORTANT

Since we are a toy and educational-products manufacturer, a major part of the role will involve product packaging and printed materials.

• Packaging design and production
• Die lines and dieline setup
• Bleeds, margins, cut lines and safety areas
• CMYK, RGB, spot colours and print specifications
• Print-ready artwork and file preparation
• Plates and basic offset/printing processes
• Working with printers and production teams
• Books, activity books, catalogues, brochures and other printed products

You should be able to take a packaging design from concept artwork print-ready file.

3. AI & Modern Design Tools — MUST HAVE

You should be comfortable using AI as part of your everyday design workflow.

Experience with tools such as:

• ChatGPT
• Claude
• Gemini
• AI image-generation and editing tools
• AI-assisted design, ideation and image creation

We are looking for someone who understands how to use AI to work faster, explore more ideas and improve the quality of the final output.

4. What You Will Design

You will work across:

The Right Candidate

You should be:

• Highly proficient in CorelDRAW

• Comfortable working with dielines and production artwork
• Detail-oriented and technically strong
• Creative but practical about manufacturing and printing
• Comfortable using AI tools for design and image generation
• Able to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Able to handle multiple projects and deadlines

Experience

Minimum 5–6+ years of relevant professional experience is required.

Experience in toy manufacturing, educational products, children’s publishing, packaging, FMCG, consumer products, or similar industries will be a strong advantage.
