About this Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build and maintain scalable, secure, cloud‑native web applications across the full technology stack. This role involves working with React, Node.js, C#/.NET, PostgreSQL and AWS within a microservices architecture. The individual will contribute to technical design, lead complex problem‑solving, mentor colleagues, and embed AI‑assisted development practices to enhance delivery quality and efficiency in an agile environment.
What you’ll do
- Deliver full‑stack solutions, taking features from concept through to production and ongoing support.
- Develop responsive and accessible front‑end applications using React, Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Build robust back‑end services and RESTful APIs using C#/.NET.
- Design and optimise PostgreSQL schemas and queries to ensure performance, integrity and security.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS using microservices architecture, CI/CD and containerisation practices.
- Apply AI‑assisted development tools across coding, testing, refactoring and review with appropriate validation.
- Lead and participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to high engineering standards.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and mitigate technical risks.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies and maintain transparent work tracking using Jira.
Who you are
- Extensive hands‑on experience in full stack development (minimum 8+ years; 12+ years preferred).
- Strong expertise in React, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front‑end development practices.
- Advanced knowledge of C#/.NET, RESTful API design and object‑oriented programming.
- Solid experience working with PostgreSQL including schema design and optimisation.
- Practical experience with AWS and cloud‑native application deployment.
- Proven experience designing microservices‑based systems with CI/CD pipelines and containerisation.
- Proficiency in Git, automated testing and secure coding practices.
- Experience applying AI tools within the software development lifecycle with sound judgement.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and mentoring skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and ownership of outcomes.
- Comfortable working in agile/SAFe environments with tools such as Jira.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
