Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Senior FP&A Solutions Consultant based in India for a fully remote role at the intersection of finance, consulting, and technology. You will design financial models, planning templates, dashboards, and reports to support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.

You will translate complex financial requirements into practical solutions, guide implementation and training, and collaborate with internal teams to improve outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial consulting, or FP&A software implementation.
• Strong understanding of FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to translate financial requirements into scalable models, templates, dashboards, and reports.
• Experience working with clients or stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Familiarity with FP&A platforms such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Workday Adaptive Planning, Planful (advantage).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior finance leaders.
• Strong analytical thinking with proactive improvement mindset.
• Proven project management and organizational skills in a SaaS environment.
• Attention to detail and quality of deliverables.
• Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams.
• Interest in combining finance, consulting, and technology.
• Professional qualifications (CPA, CFA, PMP) advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement financial models, planning templates, dashboards, and reports tailored to clients' needs.
• Collaborate with client finance teams and stakeholders to understand business models and translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, variance analysis, and management reporting processes.

In this role, you will combine financial planning expertise, consulting skills, and technology to help organizations transform their budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. You will work closely with project managers and client finance teams to design intuitive, scalable financial models and reporting solutions that support better business decisions. From financial planning templates to dashboards and management reports, your work will help customers improve visibility, efficiency, and financial performance. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating complex financial requirements into practical, user-friendly solutions. Accountabilities

• Design, configure, and implement financial models, planning templates, dashboards, and reports tailored to clients' business requirements and financial processes.
• Collaborate with client finance teams and key stakeholders to understand business models, identify challenges, and translate financial planning needs into scalable, effective solutions.
• Support core financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, cost allocations, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Develop intuitive, well-structured financial models and reporting solutions that improve data visibility, simplify workflows, and support informed decision-making.
• Work closely with project managers to coordinate implementation activities, manage timelines and deliverables, and maintain alignment with client expectations.
• Provide guidance and training to finance teams, helping users adopt new tools, understand best practices, and maximize the value of implemented solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, proactively identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting quality, and planning efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal Product, Customer Success, and Sales teams to share client feedback, address challenges, and improve the overall customer experience.
• Manage multiple client engagements and priorities while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and service delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending practical enhancements to financial models, implementation methods, and customer-facing solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial consulting, or financial software implementation.
• Strong understanding of financial planning and management processes, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, including structuring financial data, developing reliable models, and presenting insights clearly.
• Ability to translate complex financial requirements into intuitive, scalable models, templates, dashboards, and reporting solutions that encourage user adoption.
• Experience working directly with clients or business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand operational needs, and deliver tailored financial solutions.
• Familiarity with financial management systems and FP&A platforms such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Workday Adaptive Planning, Planful, or comparable tools is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage with senior finance leaders and explain financial concepts and technical solutions clearly.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying business needs and recommending improvements beyond the initial requirements.
• Proven project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, usability, and the quality of financial deliverables.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
