Job summary

FinOps Weekly in India is seeking a seasoned AWS FinOps Cloud Engineer to drive cost optimization and governance across large AWS deployments. The role targets professionals with 6–8 years of experience in cloud engineering, FinOps, and cost controls, collaborating with engineering, platform, and business teams.

This office-based position requires five days on-site in Chennai, Bengaluru, or Hyderabad, offering hands-on responsibility from EC2 rightsizing to Savings Plans optimization, Terraform

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering, FinOps and cost optimization.
• Strong hands-on experience with EC2 rightsizing, scheduling, and governance.
• Proven ability to drive Savings Plans and RI optimization across enterprise AWS environments.
• Proficiency in Terraform and AWS cost management services (Cost Explorer, CloudWatch).

About the Role

This is a full-time AWS FinOps Cloud Engineer position focused on cloud optimization and governance across enterprise AWS environments. The role is intended for professionals with 6–8 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering, financial operations, and cost optimization. You will work closely with engineering, platform, and business teams to improve cloud financial accountability and operational efficiency. The position is office-based, with locations in Chennai, Bangalore, or Hyderabad, and requires a 5-day in-office work model.
